RTC Speech Pathology · online courses
Version 1.0 · Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms cover the online courses sold by RTC Speech Pathology (“we”, “us”, “our”), ABN 73 151 645 037, through rtcspeech.com.au. The courses currently offered are:
- After the Release
- the bundle of After the Release and Little Mouths, Strong Habits
By buying a course, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Medical disclaimer and Privacy policy.
2. What you are buying
A course is online education for parents and carers. It gives you access to:
- the lessons
- the pictures, diagrams and clips
- the printable sheets
- the check-ins
All of this is on our website, through your account.
3. Education, not medical advice
The courses are education for parents. They are not medical, dental or speech pathology advice for your child. They can’t assess or diagnose your child, and they don’t replace the professionals who care for your child.
- Your child’s own provider’s instructions always come first. If anything in a course seems different from what they told you, follow them, and ask them about the difference.
- If you are worried about your child’s health, contact your provider. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Our Medical disclaimer explains this in full.
4. Your access
- Lifetime access. You can use a course you have bought for as long as we offer it on the RTC website — and for at least 5 years from the date you bought it — including any updates we make to it. If we ever stop offering a course, section 8 explains what happens.
- One household. Your purchase is for you and your household. Use it for each of your own children, including younger siblings later on. Please don’t share your login, or the course materials, with people outside your household.
- Not for professional use. Health professionals and educators may not use the courses, or their printables, with clients or groups without our written permission.
- Printables. You may print the sheets for use in your own home.
- Your account. Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
5. The two-course bundle
If you buy the bundle, you get:
- After the Release straight away
- Little Mouths, Strong Habits at no extra cost when it is released. It will appear in your dashboard automatically. You don’t need to do anything.
If Little Mouths, Strong Habits has not been released within 12 months of your purchase, you can ask for a refund of the difference between the bundle price and the price of After the Release at the time you bought it.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on the course page in Australian dollars (AUD) and US dollars (USD).
- Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Depending on where you are, you may be able to pay in your local currency at checkout.
- Prices include GST and other sales taxes where they apply.
- If we run a launch price or other offer, the price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you buy.
7. Our 7-day guarantee — refunds
We want the course to be right for your family.
Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you have completed at least one lesson and have not completed the whole course. This doesn’t affect your rights under consumer law.
How to ask for a refund. Email us at [email protected] within 7 days of buying. Include the name and email address on your account. You don’t need to give a reason, although we’d love to know how we could do better.
What happens next:
- We check your course progress against the conditions above.
- We refund the full amount to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
- Your access to the course ends when the refund is made.
Bundles. A bundle can be refunded under the same conditions, based on your progress in After the Release.
Your rights under consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer laws of the country where you live. Those laws give you rights that can’t be excluded, for example if a course is significantly different from how it was described. Our 7-day guarantee is offered in addition to those rights.
8. Changes to a course
- We may update a course from time to time, for example to reflect new evidence or improve a lesson. Updates are included in your access.
- We won’t withdraw a course within 5 years of your purchase.
- If we stop offering a course after that, we’ll email you at least 90 days’ notice. Before access ends, you’ll be able to download the written lessons and the printable sheets to keep. Video clips and check-ins are online only.
9. Our responsibility
- We take care to make our courses accurate and useful. But a course is general education, and it can’t account for every child.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for loss arising from:
- using a course in place of advice from your child’s own provider
- using activities against the cautions in the lessons
- Nothing in these terms excludes any right or guarantee you have that the law says can’t be excluded.
10. Our content
The course content belongs to RTC Speech Pathology, or is used with permission. This includes:
- the text
- the illustrations and clips
- the printables
You may not copy, resell, publish or share it, except as section 4 allows.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one in place when you bought the course. Changes to the refund conditions won’t apply to purchases made before them.
12. Contact and governing law
- Questions: email [email protected].
- Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. This doesn’t take away any consumer protections you have where you live.
